<p>At the Chaine welcome dinner themed “A Taste of Puerto Rico”, Chef Juan Natal of Novo Restaurant meticulously prepares “Guinea de Granja en Dos Artes, Novo’s cinco especias de pechuga asadas y <br /> con salchichas ahumada, churros de apio con glaseado de mavi”. It was delicious. </p>

 <p>Part of the weekend of de al Chaine des Rotisseurs activities was a wine tasting/comparison at Suarez Distributors, San Juan’s leading wine distributor and importer. They have a lecture-style room just for this purpose. </p>

<p>Quite the selection of wines here. We found a 1964 bottle of Port, but at over $500, it was a bit much for our budget. There are many more reasonably priced bottles here though, featuring every grape variety imaginable. </p>
